SEPANG – Malacca United (MU) to prove their determination to face the new season’s Super League competition in 2017 after successfully engage the national team captain, Mohd. Amri Yahya.
The 35-year-old moved to the team after his contract with Southern Tigers (JDT) expires at the end of the season.
Amri, who joined MU with a one-year deal given to admit less difficult although his first choice after JDT is the land of his birth, Selangor.
“Actually, after the expiration of the contract with the JDT, I look forward to an offer from Selangor but after Melaka came to offer me did not wait long to make a decision.
“Personally, I believe this is the right choice for Melaka is a team that is hungry for success and they have proven excellence in the last two seasons,” he said after officially sign the contract with the team MU here, today.
Amri also stressed that he did not mind the old horse held, describing it as the views of each of the age.
“I do not mind with that title because the record, I never miss a workout or had any disciplinary problems with any team that I get,” he said.
